Drilling Rigs

DTH Rotary Rig – Unit 1

Water well drill capable of 300m depth. Air compressor 750 CFM / 350 PSI. Suitable for all geology types.

DTH Rotary Rig – Unit 2

Heavy-duty water borehole rig, 250m capacity. Ideal for deep hard-rock aquifer drilling in basement terrain.

Mud Rotary Rig

200m capacity mud rotary drill. Optimal for soft formation and alluvial aquifer drilling in the Rift Valley floor.

Light Percussion Rig

Compact cable tool rig for shallow domestic boreholes and site access-restricted locations. 80m capacity.

High-Pressure Air Compressors

3× dedicated compressor units (750, 900 and 1050 CFM) for borehole development and air-lifting operations.

Drill String & Tooling

Full range of drill rods, DTH hammers, tri-cone bits, stabilisers, and casing drivers for all diameter boreholes.

Survey & Monitoring Equipment

ABEM Terrameter SAS 4000

Advanced electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) system for 2D subsurface imaging and aquifer mapping.

VES Sounding Equipment

Vertical electrical sounding (Schlumberger array) for depth probing and aquifer depth determination.

CCTV Downhole Camera

High-definition colour borehole camera for casing inspection, pump diagnostics, and rehabilitation surveys to 200m.

Water Level Meters

Electronic water level meters (300m range) and pressure transducers for continuous data logging during pump tests.

Field Water Quality Kit

Multiparameter field testing kits for pH, EC, TDS, turbidity, iron, and other key water quality parameters on-site.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

PPE & Site Safety

All field staff wear full PPE (helmets, gloves, safety boots, high-vis vests). Daily toolbox talks and JSAs before every work shift.

Emergency Preparedness

All rigs carry first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, spill response kits, and emergency contact lists. Staff are trained in first aid.

Incident Reporting

Zero-tolerance near-miss and incident reporting culture. All incidents are investigated and preventive measures implemented immediately.

Safety Training

All staff undergo regular HSE training, first-aid certification, and equipment operation safety refreshers every 12 months.

Environmental Commitment

Aquifer Protection

All boreholes are properly cased, sealed, and grouted to prevent surface contamination entering the aquifer — protecting Kenya's groundwater resources.

Waste & Cuttings Management

Drill cuttings and drilling fluids are managed and disposed of responsibly in designated areas, minimising soil and water contamination.

Promoting Renewable Energy

We actively promote solar pump adoption to reduce diesel generator dependence and carbon emissions in rural water supply systems.

Site Restoration

All drill sites are restored to their pre-drilling condition upon project completion — backfilling, grading, and vegetation reinstatement where required.
